The UGF Online Application and UGF Reference Letter
forms can be accessed through the Graduate Awards

Complete policies and procedures regarding the
UGF, NSERC, SSHRC and CIHR competition are available
on the Graduate Awards website at: www.grad.ubc.ca/awards
Students are advised to check with their departments
for their application deadline.
SSHRC application forms available
Application materials (application forms, departmental
appraisals, and letters of appraisal) for this
fall's competition are now posted on the SSHRC
website (www.sshrc.ca
). Application materials are available for both
the CGS-Master's and Doctoral Awards programs.
Please note:
(i) application forms are completed on-line by
accessing SSHRC's
secure Fellowships Forms site. Application
forms are then printed off and submitted as hard-copy
versions (there is no electronic submission).
(ii) departmental appraisal forms and letter of
appraisal forms are available on the SSHRC
website as form-fillable Adobe Acrobat PDF
forms.
NERC Online Application Available
Application materials (application forms, departmental
appraisals, and letters of appraisal) for this
fall's PGS/CGS competition are now posted on the
NSERC website (www.nserc.ca).
Please note:
(i) application forms are filled out on-line by
accessing NSERC's
secure On-line Services site. Application
forms are then printed off and submitted as hard-copy
versions (there is no electronic submission).
(ii) Appendix 1 (reference letters) and Appendix
2 (departmental/university evaluation) are also
available to be filled out on-line or as non-form-fillable
Adobe Acrobat PDF forms. Both the electronic form
and the PDF version can be accessed through NSERC's
secure On-line
Services site. As with the application forms,
Appendix 1 and 2 are then printed off and submitted
as hard-copy versions (there is no electronic
submission).
