1. Students are expected to attend all classes, unless you are ill. If you are ill, make arrangements with another class member to collect any handouts and to tell you about the class exercizes, discussions, and topics covered.

2. Students are expected to complete their assignments on time. Marks will be deducted for late assignments.

3. Students are expected to complete the assigned readings and to to engage in critical discussion of them in class.

4. We will spend considerable time in small and large group discussion which requires good listening skills, monitoring of your "air time," avoiding interrupting others and encouraging others to participate and ask questions.
